Its not perfect, but still it is quite amazing what it can do with a simple 2D camera and the light from the screen.
The 3d scan app is amazing. Right now is cool and basic but once they include 3d file export it will become a must use tool for designers and artists.
One thing they should develop further is the use of the camera and how it captures points. Fine tuning.
You have a breakthrough here, nothing else qutie like it. Bought the app because I hope you will continue to fine-tune the scanning process and come out with clearer scans. If you continue to work on this app you will have a winner. Quite amusing too haha.
People upset by the $5 export cost can buy Photomodeler Scanner for the low low cost of $4000
Amazing! Not the best mesh, but a great base mesh, import the mesh into Z-brush, smooth and bring back missing features.... Great work! Keep developing
Loved it as a toy and cant wait to get the update so i can re love it in blender
Some bad moments
This app is not worth a penny. Does nothing worth. Cant use the main câmera. Cant br used for amything worth. Dont waste your money, buying this cappy app
This is a cool idea but it barely works. The scans are crap. It should be free until they actually perfect it. Dont bother. Save your buck.
Horrible scans no where near what is advertise i tryed it a 100 times every scan is worst then the other... DO NOT BUY

The scans were not refined.
Everytime I try there is a bulge on my face like the guy from the screenshot.
I tried this on my 4th iPod touch.
I am looking forward to see improvement.
Im going to give this app 1 star instead of none, because it definitely IS an innovative app. Although this doesnt change the fact that it is utterly useless and a waste of $0.99 you could spend on something fun or useful. That is, of course, unless you enjoy wasting your time making incredibly choppy and unrealistic 180 degree 3D models of things. Which, I must add, are so horribly rendered they are of absolutely no use for anything. All this aside... Kudos to the developers for thinking outside the box, and I hope someone can find a cool use for this technology! Because, unfortunately... This is not it. Dont waste your time/money, I deleted it 5 minutes after installing it.
At the time I paid for this app the seller had NO information in iTunes or on their web site to say this app is for 4th generation iPhones only. After I complained, they added the info, but did not refund me.
