Trimensional App Reviews

Neat app

Doesnt do a great job at scanning most of the time but when it works it is pretty cool. Worth the buy.

Dude, its a fricken 3D scanner

Enough of this, its not perfect crap. Works surprisingly well and is alota fun. Emailing them is cool tool.

Virtually Useful

I must say i was pleasantly surprised at how useful this is in my work as a vitrtual reality architect. An excellent 3d grid maker for creating wireframe terrain of a highly imaginative nature , islands, small mountians, craters, mt. Rushmore type ideas SUPER cool app... Just needs to allow importation of images to expand the possibilities to creating wire frames from grey scale images that would be fab! --- good the way it is! Artist3d

Very poor results despite following directions.

None of the "scans" came close to the proper dimensions, if this was called " party gimmick face maker" then i wouldnt be so harsh. Also the limitation of only scanning in dark rooms is ridiculous.

Terrible

Great idea but it doesnt work. This should be free.

It says you can export the meshes but the you must pay.

Not functional enough yet. Needs more development. Nothing scanned is close to the results they are boasting/posting. Plus you can only export the .obj if you pay more though it says you can at the store page. I will look elsewhere for a program for this task. Rather annoyed, it seems yet another boastful app that only does part of what it says.

Meh

Barely scanned face recognizably and does not do any objects well. No practical use.

Doesnt work

Once you can finally get an image, it is not a 3D shape. You cant go back to the menu because the app freeze. Interesting potential, but still no way near the final result.

Low res, fisheyed results, need pro version to export scanned files.

Teasing version, useful only with pro version.

Paid for it to try it.... Doesnt worth the spent 1$

I tried it couple times horrible result every time...

Not worth it at all

Just really not useful for much other than silly pictures. No camera controls and only a relief photograph not a 3D image.

so unuseful

It only scans faces, doesnt recognize anything else. He cannot do the faces properly anyway, although having tried in different light conditons. It asks for additional $4,95 when you want to export in 3D, so dont be fooled by the initial price. This software should have been free according to what it currently performs. Keep your fingers away from it.

Best for Lab 3d-print

Best for Print at 3d at 3d-labstore-dot-pl

Great but lacks gif export

Real fun app even for me who is sceptical about all these bells and whistles apps around. Spiky eyes is annoying but the real must is gif export feature. Not much fun in sharing a 3d image without animation

Shadow cast to 3D Heightmap Imaging Tool

Interesting prototyping tool can capture 3D height maps from shadow cast captures for 3D CAD and 3D Printing applications. Needs extensions to allow quick sharing to social networks.

One of those you could return

Dont waste you money. Ridiculous and worthless.

3D Scanner in your pocket

No, were not quite there yet, but its the ingenuity and functionality of apps like this that make the iOS platform such an exciting one. With 3D model export enabled, these scans are very usable, though some cleanup will be required. But think what will be possible just a few years down the road... its apps like this one that get you excited for where tech is headed.

Amusing but needs work.

For a buck its an amusing toy but not up to any serious use. Seems like it could be the groundwork for something a lot more solid. Cant imagine paying the add-on price to export the 3D models but if the models get sharper and cleaner I certainly would.

Unique in every way

Revolutionary app!!

1000 Awesomes!!

And it can only get better! Nice work guys
