Amazing app

The current version is amazing, looking forward to updates and new features!

EH... Not quite there...

Kinda neat , but not quite the quality to make it a repeat entertaining app. I predict removing it soon from my phone.

Great start

This technology should improve exponentially and be mainstream by the time iPod 5 is released... At least thats my hope.

Crashes

Just downloaded it and it keeps on crashing. Please fix the bug

Really cool

Even though the results arent always perfect they look seriously cool. I have loads od fun with it.

Hey guys, fix the ipad2 crash issue!

I installed this app on the ipad 2, & now i cant use it! It just open by a moment & suddenly close, Please, fix it cause is a great tool for modeling (when you can use,you know..)

Cool, but...

Its a great concept, but while it includes iPad2 in the requirements, its not an iPad app, and the elevations of the vertices are all wrong when shots are taken with an iPad2. They are inverted (in is out and out is in) and the right edge projects much further out than the left edge.

Increbile

Amazing technology. This app is brilliant. Thank you for STL export Works iPad 2, maybe more light better scans.

Worth it

Who doesnt have a buck to entertain yourself and amaze friends for at least the first few shots? Everyone I show are flabbergasted with the amazing .gifs that are made. It can only get better from here! Well done.

Good start

Cant wait for the next version. It would be nice to have the option to export as a 3d object or point cloud or movie.

Description should disclose that it costs an additional $5 to save the 3D file

Works ok for an app but the depth perception could be vastly improved.

My Update

Love this app.IMPORTANT Need to be able to use both cameras!!! I think this is a great app the original and the best, there are newer ones but there not as good as this is.. I use this outside in day light also and get some really great stunning results so yes it would be fantastic to use the back camera with zoom and flash, also be able to rotate both vertical and horizontal. Ill give five stars and even willing to pay .99ยข for rear camera. Its a cool little app lots of fun and Ive gotten some really cool pics using this even used in a lighted room though it says to be in a very dark place it works cool in lights. It would be great to use the back camera as well also have more movement like be able to move it up and down ,spin, not just left to right also higher resolution!!! What are we going to do with these tiny pics? Why do these devs always seem to give these tiny photos? if your making a photo app then you should know something about photography, no matter if its high end or not, you should know that nothing can be done with so small resolution come on make it bigger so we can use them and not have to enlarge them it takes so much time. In all I like this its fun funky cool. Three stars for incentive for now, higher res will give more stars.

I got it for free!!! :D

Fun app that I got for free, I used App Trailers and typed in the code gimmebigpoints and they gave me a $10 iTunes card :D

Disappointing product

I think youd be hard pressed to get the results they show as examples. I couldnt get this to work. Lame, even for a dollar.

Nice! Wait, export 3d is 5 more dollars?

Oh fine. Just make it 6 bucks to begin with. I would have paid it anyway, but feels like I was tricked a little bit.

Not 3D.

It doesnt work at all. The app is trying to make a 3D image from one single picture which is impossible anyways. Very underwhelming result.

Very cool

Well worth the cost. Really neat!

Unique and innovative

Like the title says, this app screams innovation. Is it perfect? No. Is it intriguing and worth buying for anyone vaguely interested in 3d scans and 3d modeling? Yes. I bought the obj exporter but havent played with it enough to form and opinion.

Its ok

I think the Idea behind the app is awesome, the actual program isnt... Anyway Ill try it for a Little and maybe Ill Change my Review than!

Amazing - need iPad version

Simply a amazing idea, using the iPhone to emit structured Light, then create a object from the 4 image captures. Wow. The app is calibrated for the camera offset to the side on the iPhone, interestingly it create a much smoother mesh on the iPad, because of the bigger screen size, please make a iPad version calibrated for the center mounted camera. :-) My zCorp printer is able to print the scans, but they are a bit bumpy from the iPhone.
